You couldn't have chosen a better vacation destination for you and your family. There are some things you need to know before booking to get the best out of your vacation.
Choosing Where to Book
I have recently traveled to Walt Disney World and I used Pixie and Pirate Destinations as my Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. This means that they are authorized by Disney to sell any Disney Vacation and they are also able to assist you with your resort choice, dining plan and reservations and apply any discounts that may come available for the dates of your vacation.
Pro's: FREE Personalized Planning, Excellent Advice, Reservation of Dining, Making sure you get the discount applied if applicable. You can pay off your vacation up to 45 days before you arrive.
Con's: You have to book your own airfare.
There are packages offered by South African Travel Agents incorporating Airfare, accommodation and park tickets. These do offer good value but there are some drawbacks to booking these types of vacations.
Pro's: A complete package including the airfare.
Con's: Limited Choice of Resorts, No access to special Discounts offered by Disney and no personal advice and assistance on booking dining reservations.
Personally I preferred Booking with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner as the advice and service you receive are excellent. They KNOW Disney Vacations, its the only vacations they ever book!
The DVP's (Disney Vacation Planner) frequently travel to Disney Destinations and are kept up to date with available discounts
For my Trip in September 2013, I received a FREE DINING PLAN!! It was awesome to know all your food was paid for!
I was able to start paying for my trip a year and half before I traveled! It was such a wonderful stress free vacation and all my dining was booked 180 days before I arrived.
Tip of the Day for Planning a trip to WDW!!
CHECK out your options! Don't book the "cheapest" package because its on special.
